I bought two of these for my hunters. (It was hard finding a sturdy carrier for my 22-pound kitten, but this one works.) I put treats and catnip in it a few days before our short trip, and they wandered back and forth and seemed to hang comfortably. at porters. But on the way to the vet, I was startled when one of my cats stepped onto the front console and then onto my lap. He opened his bag and got out! Well I quit and we settled everything. Note, however, that there is no way to attach a lock or even a twist to hold the two zippers together. So now I zip the other side all the way up and it hasn't come out (at least not yet!). Spacious, good size, easy to use. But due to the lightning failure, I am very satisfied with the product.
