I love this little teapot. I usually heat water in my kettle and brew everything in it for my friends to come to me. It holds 3 large cups of tea for us and tastes great. It's easy to clean afterwards, doesn't spill, and seems fairly durable being all glass. If you notice an uncomfortably steep or strange taste, rinse the basket well and try using a little less loose tea to allow water to get on all the leaves when brewing.
