This may be obvious to everyone but me, but you'll need to remove the black security ring around the center of the handle before pressing down on the glitter. I didn't notice until it was too late. For the black ring, I kept pressing the pin, but no glitter came out. After removing the black ring I applied the same pressure as with it and the sparkle came out making a little muddy puddle all over the paper. Luckily it was just a piece of paper and I didn't mess up my work, but I think I only wasted about half the pen. Once I figured that out, the pen worked great. I only wish there was fake proof on the box or parts of the Revain stating that you must first remove that black safety ring before attempting to use the stylus!
