I had to buy a new charger for my Surface Pro 7 after my original Microsoft charger stopped working. I've been looking for a good charger for a long time because I read reviews of chargers that burn, melt and interfere with the mouse interface. But so far I'm happy with the charger I've bought as it doesn't get as hot as most and works well. The cable is long and has an extra piece that makes it short if needed. UPDATED: DO NOT BUY! Please save your money and just buy the original charger or search elsewhere. After using this charger for a little over 6 months it messed up my surface pro charging port. I was trying to charge it one night and the charger exploded and my laptop started smoking which will cost me a brand new laptop. Please do not buy.
