The controller looked like new. There was no indication that this was a refurbished product other than that it was not in the original packaging. It was perfectly clean and looked and felt like it had never been used. It came with new Duracell AA batteries, instruction manual and battery case. When I turned on the controller everything seemed fine; However, it never connects wirelessly. My other wireless controllers connect with no problems. I tried 20 times then sat down at the computer and asked for a refund. I ended up buying refurbished products. I bought two refurbished units in the last month (the other was a soundbar) and both were unusable. It's just not worth the effort. you have been warned
