What sets this daypack apart from others in the same category is that almost every detail related to the many essential features and functions required to get the most out of a daypack out in the field, reviewed and incorporated into the design and proposed here. The developers amaze us that they can offer this product for its price, especially when compared to water boxes that are sold separately and their average retail price is about the same, +/- say five dollars. This backpack doesn't stop there and features: many zippered pockets of different sizes for carrying different items, the hydration bladder is easy to use and clean, secures and keeps the hydration tube and hydration bladder in place, adjustable shoulder straps. comfortable, secure, non-slip and easy to adjust even while wearing, so there is no need to remove the backpack, includes chest and waist straps, which also have side zippered pockets on each side of the waist for quick storage of items, While small the details, that make a big difference, like z I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the main pocket space (where the bladder is located) is insulated with thick durable silver foil, a soft insulation that definitely helped keeping my water cool during a 100 degree Fahrenheit hike that lasted several miles. One quirk is that after unpacking I immediately noticed that the zippers on the two side waist pockets "jumped over the track" and that always bothers me, and all the zippers arrived split in the same places and about the same length, only 1.5 - 2 inches. However, I just gently wiggled it back and forth which immediately restored those two zippers to normal and both pockets have definitely been used, never had an issue and they've worked great on my only hike with this pack so far, so I will in the future monitor all problems. Overall, whether you're buying a daypack or just a hydration reservoir, it doesn't make any practical or economic sense to buy anything other than this backpack, which I'm very happy with.
