I usually give out a nice quality handbag once a year (for Christmas). I'm very careful with pocket placement, material, etc. I really prefer a single shoulder strap and it's not as easy to find as you might think, especially since I don't need a crossbody style. I feel like with two straps, one strap always falls off my shoulder. I also like that the straps are flat rather than rounded and I like the significant flex in the straps. This wallet has a zip on the outside, but if you turn the bag over you will also find a small pocket without a zip, perfect for my phone. If I have to keep my phone in my purse or even my zip pocket, I just can't hear it. When choosing a wallet, it is important to me to be able to access it quickly. But I also need to feel like it's protected and won't fall out. The upper should be leather, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The leather doesn't really smell. I love the inner lining which also has two open pockets and one zipped pocket. The bag is large, medium in size. I'm not a fan of dangling keychains so had to give up. Overall I like this bag but am deducting a star due to the questionable quality of the leather.
