Used spikes for spikes for the first time today. I put them on over my Columbia snow boots in the car and stood outside and one of them came out right away. I used velcro to secure them and followed the tracks. There was less than an inch of snow. And I don't know how many times parts of the sock have come loose. The velcro held the spikes in place so at least I wouldn't lose them in the snow. But at some point they were only attached with Velcro and the spikes just dangled under my boots. I had to shorten the trip. The problem lies in a very small part of the sock. Very disappointed.
