The lack of setting options for the price category is puzzling.

It amazes me how in 2022 we can have monitors that don't offer basic settings. Big size, great colors, but you only have access to brightness, contrast, 5 levels of sharpness (0 is low to medium sharpness, so if you want less you won't get it) and color temperature. The black levels on this monitor are terrible and the backlighting is incredibly powerful. Imagine the stereoscopic effect of a bright white monitor in one eye and an incredibly dark monitor in the other. It's less noticeable if you're playing a light game, but if you want to play something darker you'll have so much shine on your face and so little gray variation that you can't see what's going on. I have a terrible headache after a few hours of use, this stereoscopic effect of bright light burning my retinas is awful. I would suggest saving $50 and getting a cheap, working monitor from Staples. I'm not a "gamer" so all the settings like alarm clock, mega refresh rate, adaptive sync, built-in range(?) are nice, but if you can't see what's going on, who's beating someone who's sleeping in a dark warehouse , a guy with a big red rogue crosshair who can't see anything, or a guy with a $70 screen who can adjust black levels? I will immediately think about sending it back. Terrible product, would never recommend. The photo above does not show 1-5. Visibility actually doesn't start until 8. Compared to my $70 tertiary monitor, I can see them all just fine because it doesn't have the necessary settings. You can barely see them if I look really closely, but the backlight hides the thin edges. Speaking of thin edges, the sharpness of the monitor on 0 is not enough, too much gaudy re-sharpening. This monitor is 0 to 10 because bright colors are good but unless you watch half of the games on the market today or any dark scenes in movies. Why bother?
