Bought for a 2.5 year old for potty training. You seem comfortable. My son now complains about how his diaper feels after wearing it so they should be more comfortable than a diaper. For the size I bought 4/5. He is 39 inches tall, weighs 35 pounds, has a 21 inch waist and medium butt. They fit perfectly after washing and drying. No, this is not training underwear. No additional absorbent layers. Regular underwear only.
