This keyboard was bought by me in August of 2022. The primary impetus was a yearning to click with nostalgic fondness.) At first, it was utterly delightful... almost. The fact that I used a webcam as a microphone during times of active slaughter and the resulting keystroke was intolerable for my friends on the battlefield. When making a purchase, keep this in mind. A microphone that is as close to the speaker's face as feasible will produce the best results. The second and more fundamental problem didn't appear for a while (2-3 months), but it was still there. The game's keys started disappearing at the worst possible times. I foolishly reinserted them after a year of this since I didn't have time to investigate the root of the problem. Then something unexpected happened: people got tired of network conflicts and started using the keyboard at home instead. After DOOM Eternal was released, people started playing video games again. And the keys just keep falling out!? A dawning of comprehension. The explanation was so simple it was absurd: every single one of the drop-down keys had multiple (1-2) fastening legs that were broken. The severed legs became stuck inside the wall plate after breaking off. This meant the key couldn't be repaired in the usual way. It's now or never to get in touch with Logitech (because they don't have any support centers in the 2022). I explained the situation in detail, and within two to three weeks, the courier sent a brand-new set of G513 keys. They look identical on the outside, but when you flip them over, you'll notice that the base is made of clear plastic rather than white. How long can we hope this holds out? The story's takeaway is that even a peripheral monster like Logitech is human and subject to failure and marriage; nonetheless, the company does not blame outside forces or leave its loyal client base. After approximately three years from the date of purchase, they provided me a whole set of keys for 4 euros by UPS courier.
