The wooden sides are very nice. Beautiful and whimsical. I'm not a professional reviewer of the glasses, but all I can say is that I felt like they blended naturally with my "look" and didn't feel out of place. I was in the hospital for two weeks and they had no idea I technically didn't need them so I was able to keep them for a while ;) BIGGEST The lenses are better than the 20+ other blue light glasses I have and a lot of Ray-Bans -Glass sunglasses. All are so scratched that I cannot wean them for long. I didn't treat her any differently. Technically, they've been subjected to a lot more abuse considering I wear them almost every day. I highly recommend them.
