Easy to install. Pull out the cotton filter, wet it, fill the bowl, secure everything, plug it in and turn it on. That's easy. I bought it for my office. My nose was so dry. I have a fan in my room so everything gets sucked out so I decided to give it a try. Even if it doesn't help much, it's still cute and pretty. Subtle hiss. I may have to take a bigger one, but for now I'm satisfied. And it produces a good amount of water vapor for such a small device. Because of the size, I would recommend that you place it near where you sit (or sleep if you use it at home).
