This is a quality leather belt with a pleasant smell at a great price. The size is adjustable and looks a little intimidating at first, but it's really easy to trim/cut the strap to fit any waist size. There are great videos on YouTube. Simply determine the length you want by slipping it through the pant loops. Once you've found the right length, use kitchen scissors to cut off the outer square. On the inside of the buckle is a small ¾" X ¾" square of metal that you open to reveal sharp teeth. These teeth hold the end of the cut strap. Insert it into the end of the belt and fasten the square. He'll hold on. Then wrap the other end around your waist and into the other end of the buckle. You will notice that the inside of the strap makes a whistling noise as it slides over the strap. This will set the belt at the desired waist length - a little tighter or a little looser. To loosen the strap, there is a small lever that you turn to loosen and release the strap. High quality at a reasonable price.
