These connectors appear to be of good quality with nice gold plating on the mating faces. Good metal case, very little plastic. Clear installation instructions for easy setup. Using it is simple: thread the speaker wire through the base of the connector (not the small side hole), bend the wire over the serrated teeth at the top of the inner tube, then screw the top in place. This keeps the speaker cable firmly in place - a slight tug on the cable will not cause it to move or slip. The jacks are firmly plugged into the speaker jacks on my Pioneer receiver. Not to mention the durability. But so far I'm happy with them. This kit costs a few dollars more than the cheapest forks available, but they seem worth the slight price hike for the build quality and thoughtful design.
