Pros: Durable, ice cubes peel off easily. So-so: White sediment after some use: These are minerals from the water. I think they tend to settle between the ice and the shell surface. A simple ice wash solves this problem. The Bad: Silicone absorbs ALL the odors from the freezer and turns them into ice cubes. Washing ice doesn't work with smell. After a year of use, the ice smelled too much, so I stopped using it. I have tried many methods to get rid of the smell but so far without success. (less than a year in my case) the smell would be a problem. I believe all silicone baking sheets have the same problem. EDIT: I found I could remove the smell by baking it in the oven. 250-300 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Make sure the oven is preheated. (Don't roast on a smoldering coil) I use my toaster. Also, minimize the time spent in the freezer to minimize odor build-up.
