Review on Upgrade Your Display with Viotek GFV27DAB: 165Hz Widescreen with Adaptive Sync and High Definition by Sean Wells

Excellent purchase, the best in my rating

I bought this to play on my Xbox One X and it doesn't disappoint! You need to calibrate it right away to get the best look, but it looks amazing and plays great. The only bummer I had was that my Xbox didn't give me the 120Hz option with this one. But freesync works so I'm not too worried and I'm very happy with my purchase until I get a PC or a new Xbox comes out! Game Tip Settings: I've found that with HDR enabled and Ultra Bright mode on, and sharpness set to 0, everything looks great, then all you have to do is adjust the brightness for each individual game. I have freesync enabled and OD in the middle most of the time. High on Call of Duty and I don't feel any pauses, but I don't watch either. Now for the settings I liked before I enabled HDR. Brightness 45Contrast 70Black EQ 48User PresetSharpness 0Color sRBGDCR offHDR offUltrabrightness off is now a bit blurry unless Ultrabright is on and Sharpness is set to 0. I think this is the best way to run it to get the best picture quality, at least it's a great starting point! This monitor is better than I could have imagined! I started buying a PC just to get the most out of it!
