The valve works fine, although they should probably say more clearly that it is a "multi-turn" valve. Today most gas valves need to be turned about 1/2 turn (on the dial) to open or close. It will probably take 6 full turns to fully open. However, you can usually get enough gas flow with just a few turns, but it can be a little tedious to cycle on and off so many times for each on and off. Otherwise it is of good quality and works perfectly.
