Review on πŸ’† OptimizePoint STK Handheld Massage Stick by Jeremy Lawrence

Almost as good as your PT!

I purchased this trigger point massager after using it with my physical therapist for 2 years after 2 knee replacement surgeries. Now that I'm almost done with my current workout routine, it's time to get the equipment that has helped me the most in my recovery for my home gym. Before using this wand, I used a wand with a rotating roller to remove attachments from muscles and other soft tissues. This product, which I still own and use, is a complement to that wand. The main reasons for this are: 1) the stick is easier to hold to stop the twisting motion that increases the "pull" on your tissue and helps stretch it, 2) the bulges really feel like your physical therapist's fingers 3) the handle provides another opportunity to penetrate your tissue. In general, the friction of skin and tissue affects recovery in a very different way. The 21 inch stick is a little large for air travel or most pockets. And because I've been using it during this crazy COVID time, the materials have withstood constant and repeated exposure to industrial-strength disinfectants. There was no damage to the rubber or plastic at all. I love this stick and highly recommend it.
