Review on 🐍 Viper 350 2-Way Security System 3305V with Enhanced Responder by Tommy Almasri

It filled the bill well. I don't care if it gets stolen

I was looking for something to deter thieves from my '86 Toyota 4Runner. It filled the bill well. I'm not worried about it being taken away, but this unit comes with a relay that will disable the starter, fuel pump, and anything else you might want to connect to its relay pin. The relay picks up when the Viper is active and the ignition is on. I'm only interested in activating the alarm when the system is armed and a door is open. On Toyota this is fairly easy as there are interior light door switches on either side which close to ground (-) when the door is opened. I don't use door activated dome lighting. The system has an adjustable motion sensor. It is activated by simply opening the hood. It comes with lots of cables to connect. There are 12 wires but I only needed 6. Red (+12vdc) Brown (red wire to siren - black siren goes to ground) Yellow (12vdc with ignition on or en route - connected to radio) Black ( Ground) Blue and Green to door switches. The instructions don't mention this, but the white 2-pin connector from the antenna/controller connects to the main control box for the LED warning light. The block programming instruction is really cryptic. I have found that the system works the way I wanted without any programming. I use this block very simply and it works well. It has many other functions like automatic door locks, but you have to buy activators. The siren is pretty loud. The activation and deactivation tones can be disabled by programming. I give 4 stars because the instructions aren't the best.
