Thought I would take the picture in the dark based on the reviews vs price. I had a few minor issues getting my mic to work with the software I use for work, but that was just troubleshooting the system. Obviously, this isn't a stereo headset, so don't expect amazing sound quality. It actually seems to have gotten better since I used the metallic sound for the first two days, but now it seems to have cleared up. The quality of the mic matters and it's top notch, I've only had an attenuation once in almost a week of use and it could also be on the system side. I also like the flexible microphone, I often have to drink while speaking. I used to accidentally rattle the glass on the microphone. It has a great flexible mic, I can just move around for a drink and just sit back. I was looking for a new headset just because I didn't like the way my mic was built. Knowing that wireless devices were out of my price range, this was a great find. Now I'm free from my desk! A few tips, I wouldn't even try the mute feature. That's the only downside, I'm pretty sure it works as intended, but I think I'll keep mute as it's hard to tell if you're muted or not. In addition, the charging station is NOT a Bluetooth receiver. Your computer must have built-in Bluetooth, or you must purchase a dongle. Every decent new computer should have Bluetooth, unless you blame the manufacturer. The last load is a magnetic base with micro USB. I'm a little disappointed that it's not USB-C as I assume it charges faster and has a standard cable. I saw in some reviews that the battery had problems charging after a month. I cross my fingers However, I don't see any overcharge protection anywhere, so my advice to getting the most out of the battery would be not to store it in a charger, or at least while it's plugged in. Honestly if this headset lasts 6 months for this price I will definitely be buying another set. If it holds up well for the next month or so I'll probably pick up 1 or 2 more to have a backup at that price.
