Not my best purchase, could have found something else.

Hello. Revision 7216b under evaluation. For the record, I want to say that these drawbacks are almost irrelevant to me because I only got the console to play exclusive games and then resell it. There won't be any elation, amazement, or sony-related hyperbole here. In fact, I've always been less than enthusiastic about gaming consoles. But then I caved in and made the purchase since I was dying to play Red Dead Redemption 2 (what, a year later on a PC? As well as other Sony-only content. As a result, a package including RDR2 was purchased. At least the disks are fine, so I remove the CU from my hands, and everything continues to function well. OK, then make a deal. As a PC enthusiast, the PS4 Pro did not impress me in any way. A simple box crammed with substantial padding. The left stick was not properly centered from the lowest position and sometimes did not return to its original position until 4 days after the purchase. I didn't rush off to the store; instead, I carefully dismantled the controller and discovered the cause of the problem: plastic friction, which was easily remedied with some little lubrication. However, I feel compelled to mention how wonderfully smooth and ergonomic the gamepad's analog sticks are. A noisy drive is a major source of frustration for the console. When the disk is first read and when it is last read. As far as I know, nobody still does that. In conclusion, the console is still a console; it will not replace the PC as a gaming platform; it is merely a supplement. Play store is incredibly cumbersome, and games are rarely found when a search is performed using only the game's title. Those. even if it fits the category, a search won't turn up any results for it. This is something I have read a lot about. I just don't have anything else to say. If you're debating whether to accept it or not and you're interested in playing exclusives, you should probably go ahead and take it. Don't bother if you have a gaming PC and aren't interested in exclusives. Nothing beats the ease of using a keyboard and mouse to play PC games, and the pricing for PC games are significantly lower than those for consoles. The most important thing is that this console keeps on working until December and can play Sony's games as intended. And then, with a clean heart, sell this engineering marvel)))) everything in my humble opinion.

Pros
  • What can be put into words to describe dignity, I have no idea. Consider the remark. One positive aspect I noticed was how peaceful it was compared to the older versions. Fast enough to turn on when needed. Disks are not tied down in any way. Take advantage of BU! It's crucial. You won't get any creaking or rattling from this sturdy plastic controller.
Cons
  • The console's plastic makes a crackling sound when heated. Everyone has a clunky blue-ray player and can watch videos on YouTube. In my opinion, it is really noisy. Once again, parallels to ONE X are drawn. Even with the brightness turned down, the gamepad's battery drains quickly. The heavy Logitech gamepad, which can run for a long time on a single charge, is included here. Low-priced plastic game system. Yes, it creaks horribly at the slightest touch, and I personally couldn't care less. buzzing accelerators. Thankfully, it's just a buzz and not a squeak. However, at a distance of just 2 meters, it becomes nearly undetectable. To the 4K standard. Those. are for appearances only. There is no native 4k signal issued by the prefix. - substandard machinery. By nightfall, both gamepads were comfortably fitting in the consoles. This is thick if we're talking about iron, after all. This would make sense if there were cheaper bundles that included two gamepads instead of just one. To play online with other people, you'll need to pay for Sony's service in addition to the Internet connection fee, in contrast to a personal computer. The gamepads are noisy and dangling from the back of four seats in the car. These are the only buttons on the controller that make any noise. For instance, the sign of the cross is pushed almost imperceptibly. Since this was written in 2022, standard input devices like keyboards and mouse are not supported. Archaism. Sony's ridiculously high game prices in the store. However, discounts are available. They were confused about whether or not the console should be in standby mode or turned off. Just a quick charge for the controller, or maybe a new update? Because resuming normal operation from standby mode loads the console as well, closing any open programs. - I almost overlooked the most crucial detail. If you've heard someone state that 30 frames on the console is the same as another 30 frames, DON'T BELIEVE THEM. You'll feel like you're in hell for the first two days after the PC. This becomes evident right away in RDR2. And at first you wonder if you really have a shot at playing it. Yes, after a while it becomes normal, but you must realize that this is not the usual. You can avoid feeling like you're going back to hell in games with a 30 fps lock by simply playing less PC.
