My baby has severe eczema which means everything irritates his skin and finding socks he can tolerate is a nightmare. These socks were a dream. Soft, stretchy, no polyester. They did one wash after another. No longer. I think Jeffries is trying to cut costs but they changed everything that made these socks perfect. The elastic is now much stiffer and woven in such a way that the elastic fits snugly against the skin - a big problem for my son. Instead of stretching, the rubber band breaks after a few months. New socks also shrink a lot. See photo - socks are the same size, left is the old design and right is the new sock in a smaller size. (Pictures show both inside out and front) So-so,
