It doesn't work - graters, vegetable cutters and slicers
I tried this a while ago and no matter how I use it or what surface I use it on it never cuts through an onion completely, and then it all falls between the blades. It rendered a lot of onions useless to top my recipes because it crushed and crippled my poor little onion. I would only recommend this article if you like disappointment.
