For only a few dollars more, it's a lot better than my Caldwell nylon bag which didn't last long before the stitching came undone. The medium size fits both my AR with a thin M-Lok handguard and my target rifle with a 2" flat-bottomed handguard. The bag forms well after removing a small amount of sand. I use it on a small tripod. To install it, I ordered a replacement Caldwell Rock Jr baseplate ($1 plus shipping) with a threaded tripod adapter inserted into the baseplate. The Caldwell bottom plate is a perfect match for this bag.
