I first bought kraft paper thinking it would be good for freezing meat, but then my friend told me I needed this paper for freezing. I was surprised at how thin the paper is, but thickness doesn't matter as long as there's a layer of something like poly to keep moisture out. Costco always sells big packs of meat and I have to freeze a lot of it. This freezer paper is a great way to prevent meat from escaping moisture and freezing. I've read that this is the preferred way to freeze meat. There is a lot of paper in this roll and it will last me a long time.
