I bought these because I have arthritis in my thumbs which gets worse when I ride a bike. My hands also felt numb and tingly after riding for just a few minutes. I had a few issues installing them and they required minimal tweaking to install correctly. But I've never mounted handles and have done it myself. I still have some numbness/tingling, but not as severe as it used to be, and it takes a lot longer for me to notice it. More importantly for me, I no longer feel pain in my thumb joints while driving. I am very satisfied with this product.
