Bought for my niece's 11th birthday. She loved it and it fit perfectly. She's tall for 11 (a full head taller than all of her closest friends) and I gave her 16. She is slim so 14 would work but I wanted her to be able to wear it for as long as possible and with an elastic strap it would be possible. In all likelihood, after it gets too short, she can add leggings and wear it as a long top. As it is it falls a few inches above the knee and is perfect in every other way. The fabric and tailoring are also of good quality. She loves it and so does my aunt!
