No suction, useless lid and straw

I don't know how this thing got so many 5 star reviews. The suction is very weak and my son was able to pull it out immediately. Also the clip on the straw makes no sense, the cup it attaches to has to be filled to the brim to really touch the liquid, why is it so short and not just the normal length of a straw? Two sips and a straw won't help. Finally, the lid is just awful. It doesn't fit in the bowl and literally squeezes when you try to put it on. Forget that it stays intact when the bowl is turned upside down. The only good thing about it is a small spoon and fork.
