My power supply (charger) does not give more than 12 watts when connected via Type-A. If you use cables that have Type-C on both sides, then you can get more power. It looks like such cables (which have Type-A on one side) will never have more than 15-20 watts of power. Therefore, it makes no sense to declare 100 watts on it. The cable may miss so much, but the charger will not be able to negotiate with the device being charged through this cable to give such power.
