Inner jacket too small to wear alone

This jacket offers excellent water protection and allows you to remove the down jacket in warmer weather. BUT, don't buy this jacket thinking you'll also get a down jacket that can be worn separately unless you significantly increase the overall size of the jacket. The only way I can close the down jacket is when I'm wearing a light t-shirt, and that's really unflattering. Looks like a jacket that is too small. Also note that I'm a tall woman but wanted to make sure I could wear it comfortably over winter layers and heavy sweaters so I bought the XL. So the magnification still didn't make the inner fuzz that big. If you buy this 2-in-1 jacket instead of 3-in-1 you should be happy... and remember you may need to go up a size.
