I don't normally write reviews but this was too good to keep to myself. Today I did one of the dumbest things I've ever done. Is always. I was trying to loosen a couple of hex head screws and for some reason I got confused and overtightened them. When they weren't moving (obviously), I got a cheat bar about 2 feet long and started tightening them up! After breaking the curse, I finally understood what I was doing. I called myself an idiot and started trying to unscrew them (correctly this time). Of course, I immediately took my head off. I tried a vise on the head (and got it VERY tight) but it just slipped off the head of the bolt. That's when I got my channel locks. I figured I would probably break them but decided to use cheat rods on them. I placed 2 foot tubes on each side of the locks and squeezed them together until they crossed. I turned around and the screw came loose. I couldn't believe the instrument held up! If these locks can withstand the force of two 2ft bars, they can do anything! I am very pleased!
