My son hates gel! He doesn't like the feel of his hair. We bought it based on the reviews and we love it. I have no idea what the difference is or why he likes it but I told him it has thousands of 5 star reviews and the packaging is great lol! He is 9 years old. My daughter has long hair and lots of fluffy hair around her face so I use this on her hair when I do a ponytail instead of hairspray and it holds up better! She is 6. Happy with the purchase and the price. Will definitely buy again!
