The only major downside is that the "leather" chin strap is actually faux leather, but it's one of the most convincing faux leathers I've seen (the underside is even fluffy and remotely mimics suede) and this one is almost $10 cheaper than any other M1 pads I've found on sale, so I can't complain too much. It is only slightly more expensive than the cheap M1 Halloween costume helmets also sold here, but is much more accurate. Definitely recommend if you're cosplaying WW2 Captain America (I added a canvas chin strap).
