Review on Burnished Bronze Metal Cable Grommet by Hesham Peltier

Better than plastic, goes well with table

We have a very nice desk in our office, but it doesn't have a cable routing hole (for the monitor and speakers). This piece fitted our table nicely and drilling was easy with a round drill bit (sold separately). The only comment I have, and it's a small one, is that I'd like the bushing diameter to be a little larger or the drill bit a little smaller. The reason is that when I drilled the hole the sleeve was just resting there. The socket wobbles VERY little. If the sleeve were larger or the hole smaller, it would require some pressure to insert the sleeve, which would provide a good snug fit that would prevent the sleeve from wobbling or turning when the line is pulled. But still. It's one of those things that you only install once and probably never touch again. So it doesn't matter, but it doesn't make it 100% perfect. More like 95% perfect.

Pros
  • WIRE HOLE BRUSH — Nylon bristles center and protect wires for a sophisticated look.
Cons
  • No instructions
