Review on 🦂 Scorpion R420 Matte Black Helmet - Medium Size by Michael Cormier

For the money this helmet gives me safety and comfort. This is by no means a riding helmet, but for general road use and maybe track use (although it's not my current cup of tea, it has a 2015 Snell rating) it fits very well. The two vents provide pretty good ventilation, but the mouth vent does most of the work as the top vent requires a larger pleat position to let in some air. Removable cheek pads (with emergency pull tabs!) in combination with a removable liner make this helmet very easy to clean and install the communication system. I am currently using SENA 10S with my. I originally bought this mid-sized R420 but have since returned it and opted for the large one. My head size was balanced between the two sizes, but I found the large to be much more comfortable. I also bought a tinted visor that works wonders during the day. Pros: Great value, comfortable, fantastic looks, easy visor controls, removable inner pads, Snell 2015 rating. Cons: Louder than average, top ventilation could be better. Cons, I would still wholeheartedly recommend this helmet for the road rider who does long sport/naked bike rides from time to time.
