This is my third pair of Teva Tanways and I really liked the first two pairs. Velcro to adjust the fit combined with a buckle to secure the shoe to the foot was perfect. But they did a few things that upset and disappointed me. There used to be Velcro on the female side of the buckle. A Velcro strap held the buckle in place, allowing the sandal to be pulled on and secured with one hand. Velcro is gone and now it takes two. The bed of the shoe has changed and no longer has the plush cushioning it used to have. Also, they changed the pattern on the bed so that it's a bit "artsy" but really uncomfortable. Teva no longer shows Tanway on their website, so I suspect it has been removed. What appears to be replacing them is a similar sandal with Velcro and a buckle, but the buckle is now on the top of the foot. Haven't tried or seen them other than on the internet but putting a hard buckle on the top of the foot doesn't seem comfortable.
