I was looking for a strong case to protect the corners and had trouble, but I found it in this one! I received the Incipio Hive (Red) Silicone Case for iPod Touch 4th generation (the one with the front camera). Please note that this is an improvement over the Incipio Dermashot case which does not have additional corner protection. The Incipio Hive case is marked as a play case on the packaging, which means it's a case for kids or adults who might drop it. It also comes in yellow, black and other colors. Overall, this is exactly what I need to protect the child from falls or injuries. It's very stylish and has extra rubber on the four corners where bumps are most likely to occur. It also includes two screen protectors that work well and are easy to apply. It's made of rubber, which I think is the perfect hard/soft rubber. The rubber isn't so soft that it loses its shape like some soft rubber cases, but it's also not so hard that it sacrifices rebound and impact protection. The red color is a good red, not too orange or garish. Pros: - Added rubber on all corners, which makes a difference - Two easy-to-apply screen protectors included - Honeycomb pattern all over the back that improves grip without being heavy - Apple cable connects for syncing without removing the case - The front and rear cameras are not covered at all, neither are the headphones and the speaker - wraps around the front and also protects the front edges - Just the right softness of the rubber - rubber not too soft but not too hard - Stylish and fun - buttons The volume - and power buttons are well protected but have rubber buttons that work well. Protective corners can get in the way. Screen protectors are good at anti-glare, but you can probably find better/more expensive ones. Overall I would definitely recommend this case, it comes in a variety of colors (red, yellow, black etc) and makes a great case for a child who needs to protect the corners of their IPOD. If you have a child, put them on your iPod right away. Not only does it protect, it makes it easier to grip and looks cool too! If you want a different screen protector, go ahead, but the included screen protector will do - my kid loves it.
