I paid for insanely luxurious lip balms for my insanely dry and chapped lips. (Although this is a common problem) I usually get cracked and bleeding lips again after 2 weeks. Featuring Origins, Tarte, Clinique, Dermalogica, Burtsbees, Badger Balm, Lancome, Julep Blahblahblahblah. One works, I had healthy lips for 6 weeks and it was worth not buying another one every 2 weeks. This might not be a big deal if you have healthy lips or only use one a day. difference for someone with chronically dry skin from medical problems. I was in North Dakota in year -13 and still had no painful tears. I use all day and it lasted 6 weeks so I feel like I got my money's worth.
