I was very happy when I saw that Sabbat came out with a new model. First let me say that I have owned every model up to the E16. My last pair were E12 ultra and after 3-4 months of use they started to crack. And when I say "smack," it was so loud I literally felt pain and like it might burst my eardrums. But before that, they were one of my favorite pairs of headphones I had. When I saw this model I was excited to try them. Well let me just say yes they sound good in most genres. I've had them for a few days and they're starting to crackle like my E12 Ultras. Not too bad but I've only had them for a few days so it's likely they will start doing the same thing which is painful when it happens. Unless you use them extensively like I do, you might not have the same problem. But I work outside, there is a lot of noisy equipment around, and I have to use a high volume to drown out the equipment. Maybe this suits you? Will they work for me no because I have to use them at high volume and I can't handle the crackling. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and buy a pair of Sennheisers or new Bowers and Wilkins. I hope this review will save someone else the headache of sending it back if you are a heavy user like me.
