I bought these to monitor my guitar tracks. Now I wear them almost everywhere. The sound is huge! I was torn between them and Sennheiser. I think I made the best choice. They are durable and sit well on the head. Good soundproofing. In fact, they're no worse than my $300 active noise-cancelling headphones. I really like the response of these headphones which are great for monitoring sound, watching movies and listening to music. I've used Sony, Bose and a couple of mid-range Sennheisers, but I have no experience with a wide range of headphones. It's really good sound with good comfort and soundproofing.
