After I gave this product a bad review, the company contacted me and offered to refund my money. After accepting the return, I received a strange email. The company had the audacity to ask if I would be willing to change the star rating OR the CANCELLATION RATING because I only gave them 3 stars. I gave the product three stars after the refund because it is simply said; I was promised surgical steel but clearly there was no product. My ears have been EXTREMELY sensitive my entire life. I can only wear surgical steel and nothing else or my skin will flake off and my ears will be in a bloody mess for about two weeks. Not cute I know! I chose them as a birthday gift and kept wearing them throughout my birthday dinner (surprise surprise), about halfway through dinner my ears started itching and burning. This is the first sign that my skin is going to have a serious reaction. Fast forward to the end of the night, happy birthday, no earrings and bloody irritated ears. I appreciate that the company was willing to refund my money BUT I don't think the product deserves more than three stars.
