This case is made of a very hard plastic. It would not provide any kind of drop protection. It also gets quite slippery in your hands. I also did not like how the corners did not match up. I think this is because it is a very hard material that is not stretchy. I was also worried that it did not provide any protection for the camera when sent back down on a table. However it was very low profile and fit the phone well.
