He made a loud bang and the image faded. I immediately sent it back to Revain for a quick refund. However, customer service contacted me and admitted that they recently had an issue with the supplier. They sent me a new bulb for free. The replacement bulb was used for about a week with no problems. The brightness and clarity of the image is comparable to the original lamp. This lamp had a marking similar to the original: 160W - 200W was printed on the lamp body. My projector model is an Epson 8350. Overall this lamp is a good overall value. My man cave is now fully functional again as the projector has been restored to its original quality. When a customer buys something at a discount well below the original product, the consumer must be willing to take some risk. I will review this review in 6 months. If the performance is still good I will upgrade to 4 stars. Hope for 2 years of it.
