I love the design and functionality until I discovered that if I set one burner to 1100w and then try to use the second burner at 1100w, the first burner the power is automatically reduced to 700 W. Aha. I had a 1500 on one side and a 500 on the other and only bought it because I needed high performance on both sides. I've been using this other stove for years with no problems, so for many people this may not be a problem at all. I'll be returning this one though and see if I can get another without that caveat. I assume this is a limitation of the default plugin. Glad I tried before I cut a hole in the island. I like the stove. I could have gone for the 4 burner version instead.
