Bought when taking a 2003 BMW r1150rt to rebuild knowing I would need a 16mm thin wall with a deep well. 8 months later I've tried unplugging and it just goes round and round and round and the plug won't come out. I figured I might have the wrong plugs on my bike so I bought a 14mm plug that fits over a ceramic plug but not on flat surfaces. Borrowed a thin wall 5/8 and unplugged it. Order the correct 16mm (really deep wells, not those 1-1/4 inch). For reference, my other spark plug sockets are at least 2-1/4 inches deep, and the distance from the top of the spark plug to the bottom of the flats is 2 inches.
