I did a lot of research before purchasing but to be honest I was desperate. I woke up with a sore neck and hunched shoulders, plus I woke up several times during the night from discomfort. I chose them based on reviews and price. They came rolled up in a smaller bag with no direction; However, many reviews said to tumble dry on low for about 20 minutes, which I did. The first night I used it, I slept through it for the first time in weeks. Very, very comfortable. They require regular hitting, slapping, and shaping, but they're awesome!
