Review on Crucial Vacuum Replacement Bags Compatible by Justin Stinson

Good mid range bags

Update 3 Jan 2012 I'll be back to order more of these. We used all 9 bags and were very happy with them. I really appreciated the seal over the entrance - it's a nice touch. There are no complaints at all about these bags. ---------------- Initial Review ---------------- For some reason I had trouble finding vacuum cleaner bags for my Kenmore vacuum cleaner , without going to Sears. The ones Sears sells are also much more expensive. These are HEPA cloth bags, which adds to the cost, but that's more filtration than we need. With 3 kids and 4 cats, a HEPA bag isn't going to do much to improve the air quality in our home. These bags are good mid-range bags. They're not as expensive as cloth HEPA bags like these bags which are over $1 a bag, but I believe they're a step up at just over 60 cents a bag. From the lowest to the highest level of filtration, the scale seems to range from microfiltration to allergen filtration to HEPA. The bags fit our Kenmore vacuum perfectly and they work well. The pollution sensor light behaves as usual and the "power indicator" light is off, which is good. A nice feature is the strap closure integrated into each pocket. On more than one occasion I've tossed a full bag into the bin, pushed it down to compress the garbage, and been rewarded with a cloud of dust from the bag's inlet on my face. The zipper prevents this. I have no complaints about this bag - the vacuum seems to handle pet hair around the house just as well.
