Not washable in my review

Not washable. See photo.Absorbent until the backing came off in the wash. At first, it would just split a little, then parts would come off in the wash and now there are barely shreds hanging on after maybe 10 washes as the rug was only used when it rained.

Pros

Because it’s a shag rug doesn’t show any dirt

Cons

The rug may not dry quickly enough, leading to mold or mildew growth
