They really saved my finger from pain. My toenail fell off last year after dropping a box on it and when the new toenail grew in it grew in and started to grow into my skin. It was very painful and I kept trying to trim the edge off with nail scissors which seemed to help temporarily but when it grew back it started to hurt. It hurt so much that I almost cried when my friend accidentally stepped on my foot or I hit him somewhere. These funds are the only thing that helped! I bought these after searching "how to fix ingrown toenails" on YouTube and found several videos showing doctors using these tools on their patients. These files fit right into the side walls of your nail and you can gently file them in an outward pulling motion to ensure the edges are perfectly smooth and won't cut your skin as you wax. Inserting the instrument was painful. there and the file as my toe was already very itchy from the ingrown toenail but I just sucked it out and got in there really well because I knew it had to be done. I'd rather just deal with the pain of filing to stop future pain! My toenail is now fully grown and I no longer feel pain after filing on both sides. The other tool is also perfect for cleaning under the nails during a pedicure! Great purchase and has seriously eased my pain.
